Cardiff - released but not in loader? 18/03/2017 at 15:43 #93717 | |

Hi all, I've seen that Cardiff has been released and I've just purchased the multi-buy, got all that sorted and allocated the licences to my laptop. But when I click 'check for updates' on the loader, none of the sims are being installed. Is it a case of 'hold your horses, they'll be install-able in a tick?', or is it a problem at my end? All the best, Joe Log in to reply |

Press check for updates in your loader. It is now available. Congratulations on being the first person to buy!

Lovely, thanks. I've just clicked on 'check for updates' and nothing is being updated though - even with a restart of the computer. Would me unallocating the licences help at all? Or just a case of waiting for a little while longer for things to filter through the system? No worries either way - looking forward to playing it whenever I can - and thanks for the quick reply ![]() Joe Log in to reply |

I would recommend you download the system files from the website and reinstall, then check for updates. Sounds like you have an older version.

Same problem guys. Fixed by a full reinstall of system files. 4.5.13.6 loader which I had doesn't update properly. Wasn't this what the loader was supposed to fix ?

Wasn't this what the loader was supposed to fix ?In January an update to the loader and updater was released by GeoffM in which it was recommened that users update by downloading the system files from the download section. This is/was due to updaters prior to that one not updating to the latest version following a change to the updater. Boldly going forward 'cause we can't find reverse.
