Fantastic timetable! Really changes the simulation compared to the modern-era timetables!

Couple of potential rules issues Pascal -

I've ended up with to 7Z05s (7Z05 out of YYS and 7Z05A from Sherburn Jn) - according to the description these are the same OTM.
Just a quick note to say that in the current iteration (v9.0e) this occurred to me too. I believe it is simply missing a rule (e.g. “7Z05A must appear after 7Z05 leaves the area”). I just duplicated the rule for 7Z04(A) and adjusted the TDs accordingly (in case anyone else encounters this).

This timetable at some point in the future will be updated with a number of changes. Some of which will be to do with the MGR trains loading & in some cases the routing to & from Gascoigne Wood Colliery as well as other bits & pieces to the timetable. But for now at least there's only 1 niggly issue & that's to do with this missing rule which users can add into the timetable themseleves. But thanks for the vote of confidence with it.
At some point in the future the 3 Leeds sims will have a 1991 timetable written for them to chain & I've already started on the Leeds-Ardsley timetable.

Sounds great! I look forward to giving those a whirl too when they come out!

I'm currently having "fun" with the timetable, the fun being the freight at Gascoigne Wood when the locos have finished running around their trains they're rather impatient to move to the next location usually with another train already in it.

It's certainly very very busy but I do have one question about 7Z07, I guess the consist is the weed spraying train but was it used for anything else like the RHTT trains of today in treating the rails during leaf fall season or was the consist only used for one specific duty?

No from my experience of weed killing trains that's all they did & nothing else. Remember the weed killing trains were run by the companies that owned them like Nomix-Chipman of Horsham & later Hunslet-Barclay of Kilmarnock & they were staffed by the companies that owned them.

Well it took me nearly a week to complete playing but I did it even if my hair is now even more greyer then before such is the risk of playing such a intensive timetable!

So thanks 58050

Well the main thing is you suceeded in finishing it & by the sounds of things you enjoyed it. Maybe the next timetable I'll release could be a bit easier as it's on the LTS. The York 1991 timetable will have a re-work done to it especially at Gascoigne Wood, but that won't happen just yet.

Thank you, one thing I did notice mostly at Gascoigne Wood was when a train had completed it's run round and it had to shunt to one of the bunkers, one thing that might be useful for any update is if they can wait time because most of the time the bunker road they were booked for had a train in already and I had to tell the drivers of these impatient trains to wait their time, just a small thing but maybe something that could be added to make the tt even more realistic?

Most of the time I was spending in and around York station itself as well as Gascoigne Wood, I look forward to seeing what else you have in your hat

Running Version 9.0e, 5D66 York station pilot Cl.08 comes out of the Parcels Sdgs dragging 5 BG/GUV's to shunt to Pfm.4 but is too long for the shunt neck and comes to a stand at the buffer stop. I've had to reduce the consist by 3 vehicles to get in clear behind Y631 GPL Sig.

That's one of the out-standing issues with the sim. GM is aware of it & I guess it's a case of when he gets round to lengthening it. The only thing to do is o shorten the train by 0 or 20m to see if that then fits. I myself have got to update this TT at some point qwhen I've got time on my hands without writing timetables for sim devs on future sims under construction. Mainly the Gascoigne Wood Colliery area. So this TT will chained to West Yorkshire. Nonetheless it's a challenging timetable. Keep on traucking Phil.

At least it's a known bug, thanks Pascal. I reduced by first 1 vehicle, then 2, then 3 before the TC cleared. Yes it is a challenging and very enjoyable TT (as are all the heritage offerings from yourself, Vince and others), and I'm on my 2nd or 3rd go with it. I also run York (as I do most other ARS sims) with the ARS disabled, so any mess I make is all my own work! :-)

Phil.

You're a brave man Phil. I've never played it with ARS switched off, not that I get much time to play the TTs I create. The only time I get to run them is when they are being tested & that's it.

That was fixed in 2017 (V1.5) on your ticket number 16065. However, you didn't close it, and I was unaware it was still a problem. Suggest re-opening if you're not happy.

I never closed it as I've not had the time to run that tt since putting the issue on MANTIS. All my time has been taken up writing TTs for devs for their new sims. I'll re-open the ticket based on what Phil has mentioned.

Can confirm the neck is still as short in the currently released version. 40m does not fit there, 36m does. Pre-2012 era.

5N22 has the same issue. I have done some more tests and concluded that the maximum length in the neck is currently 39 metres.

I've re-opened the MANTIS report so when Geoff gets some spare time hopefully the neck will be lengthened to accomodate the 2 trains affected by this. When I was testing the timetable I shortened the trains affected & once they'd got into the platform I used to abandon the timetable & then re-instate it with the correct train length.
