Hi, I'm having difficulty with the St Alban's Abbey branch. First train of the day gets to Watford North, but signal 50 is at red and can't be switched. I've tried the ground frame, but you can't switch 50 through that unless you're going into the sidings. What am I missing? Post has attachments. Log in to view them. Sorry, previous post was nonsense, WJ50 works automatically, take back the release of the ground frame and the branch works itself.

Thanks TUT for replying - is it normal to have the train call to say they are waiting at the red signal?

If you received a phone call before the ground frame was released then either I don't know what I'm talking about or something is indeed wrong. Log in to reply |

I only tried the groundframe after I got the call - however the signal has now turned green, just 3 minutes late.

It shouldnt need to call in. IRL the crossing is lowered and the signal clears after the guard plunges TRTS.

The driver would have to contact the signalbox if s/he could not get a proceed aspect. SimSig Boss Log in to reply |
