Mod Note - No bug has been found

Evening all,

Just been trying to work the East panel on Cardiff PSB in Aron's session. I decided, to make sure I had things to do, to drop the Automatic routes around Rumney River Bridge Junction. I therefore deselected those Automatic route opptions at the bottom of the east screen, near the East / West boundary but I left the others in play.

This, however, almost immediately proved to be a bad idea. I let a couple of trains pass and, shortly afterwards, found that I could not set the following routes:

- Signal 37 (ML) to Signal UR167
- Signal 137 (RL) to Signal UM167
- Signal 135 to Signal 137 (both RL)
- Signal 102 to Signal 104 (both DR)
- Signal 104 to Signal 106 (both DR)
- Signal 102 (DR) to Signal DM168A
- Signal 200 to Signal 2 (both DM)
- Signal 106 to Signal 108 (both DR)
- Signal 237 (Pengam Sidings) to Signal UM167

So that lost me 9 possible routes. I also tested the routes through Pengam Sidings and couldn't set those either! I ended up doing several PSAD authorisations until Aron (the host) closed the chain. Before closing the game Aron tested the route setting himself on the routes I flagged up but he also found that he couldn't set them.

I enclose screenshots showing how I set things (5N02 was the first PSAD) and also showing the message window. Any thoughts from Karl (or anyone else) would be welcome.

Dave

None bug I'm afraid, people where playing around with the SGRCs in the session, and they prevent routes being set.

That combined with the lag users where experiencing in the session probably didn't help you seeing the indications properly.

As a point of order screenshots make bugs extremely difficult to track down, please try and provide save games to help us look at what is actually happening.

SimSig Wiki gives the answer here.

Found it by doing this.
