--TIMETABLE IN WRITING---- Around 80% Complete. This timetable is for Sunday 27th August 2017 when the line was closed between Derby LNW Junction & Barton North Jn. As a result on trains could not run via Burton. Timetable Notes. 1. No trains between Derby and Tamworth. ---Service Pattern--- ---East Midlands Trains -- East Midlands Train only have one affected service by the possession the basic Sunday service pattern is listed below, along with any ammendent; 1tph London St Pancras - Sheffield services operated by Class 222 DEMU and HST Sets.These services are unaffected. This service also runs Half Hourly to Derby in Evening. 1tp2h Nottingham - Matlock operated by Class 153/156/158's DMU's. These services are also unaffected. This service is hourly during evening. There is also addtional services between Nottingham and Derby only during the early afternoon and one from holdiay train arrival from Skegness. There are no Crewe-Derby's today due to the possession with the service operating between Crewe and Tutbury and Hatton, A Rail replacement bus is running between Derby and Tutbury & Hatton. There is also Class 222 & HST ECS's throughout the day between Etches Park & Derby Station, Sheffield and Nottingham due to the amount of swaps that happen on a Sunday diagram. ---Cross Country--- Cross Country's services are majorly affected by the possesison. The basic Sunday service pattern and ammendents are listed below; 1tph Penzance/Newquay/Plymouth/Bristol-Edinburgh/Glasgow/Aberdeen. This service is diverted via Leicester adding an addtional 60 minutes to the journey. Operated by Class 220/221 DEMU's and a few HST sets. Occasional services in the evening are also running between Newcaslte/Edinburgh and Derby. 1tph Newport - Tamworth, this is the shortened Cardiff-Nottingham service. The service will run ECS from Tamworth to Barton Under-Needwood reverse and go back to Tamworth. There will also be an hourly Derby-Nottingham shuttle, Operated by Class 170 DMU's. ECS's from Barton-Under Needwood are unaffected by possesison and will run as normal.
