Hi,

I have spent a lot of time with Royston, and some time on WembleySurbuban and Liverpool Street - so I understand what the ARS concept is.

But can someone give me a pointer on how you would proactively use it on a bigger sim like London, Tilbury & Southend (LTS).

Is it by setting trains ARS as they go off the panel you are interested in controlling? Or some other method?

Thanks.

Only one of the simulations you've tried (Liverpool St) has ARS. Royston and Wembley Sub don't.

In general, you can disable a sub-area, or a group of sub-areas, running trains manually in those areas. You still need to keep an eye on the rest of the simulation though, because ARS can't set routes into some sidings, re-route trains away from their planned lines, and other limitations. Read the ARS page on the Wiki for more information.
