Hi all,

I very much like this feature as it makes, in my opinion, a better simulation of trains slowing than the default. I've now incorporated it into a new release of Peterborough 1977 but I'm having difficulty with the Flashing YY feature.

All of the others (including Flashing Y) works OK with the criteria that I have set but I can't get any reduction of speed with a flashing YY on the down fast at P413 (Fletton) when a train is routed into P4 or P5.

Line speed according to the speed map kindly provided on the manual page is 100mph.

The settings I used are :

From LS = 0 : To LS = 0
Reduce to = 60%
Approach next = 50% Distance 100m

also

From LS = 0 : To LS = 0
Reduce to = 70mph
Approach next = 55mph Distance 100m

Neither seem to work.

I'm aware that in all probability flashing aspects weren't around in 1977 but it would be good to actually get it to work.

Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong? I'm stumped because all of the others work

PS - Just curious - why is there a provision for passing a red? I tried that for when I was cautioning past signals at danger but that didn't work either, not that its particularly important anyway

PPS - Do the rules have to be in a particular order? There is provision to move them up and down - is that significant?
