Just a bit of fun to see how different people run things differently.

As I'm still not fully-used to running the frame-feature on Hunts Cross, it's a bit of a deep-end when I've got 2 framess to concentrate on.

SO I sorted my own lever "reminders" to assist until I'm fully comfortable with both frames...

When I get disruption, I find reminders and sticky notes the way to go. See here on Piccadilly where signal failures have closed the Up Slow and Up fast in different locations.

Hi,

never mind the frames, how did you get the big clock like that. With my eyesight I definately need one like that - I'm presuming that is sim time....

It isn't sim time; 1L05 is booked to leave Warrington at 07:15.

If a train is delayed i normally pop a sticky on with delayed and the estimated time eg "delayed 17:45"

If a signal has failed i normally note available or missing aspects eg "no red" or "green only" or "no aspect"

If a track circuit fails I mark "exam" to remind me to caution a train to examine the line, then change it to SOWC for shows occupied when clear once its established the section has no obstruction.

If points fail I just key and collar them.

I also use sticky notes to mark trains sat in non track circuited sidings or loops along with a collar.

If a train is given a slot for a specific line or siding i usually also add a sticky next to the exit button to a) remind me i requested a slot b) remind me which train its for and which line the train has been accepted on.

The much-missed Maxand had some interesting ideas about how sticky notes might be improved. See here.

Much missed on the forum. I still occasionally load one of his major disruption situations he got himself into one of which was covered in the yellow thingies......you either liked him or loathed him but he certainly put forward quite a few ideas on stickies.

As Steamer said - it is not a sim-time clock. BUT if you want something big like that to keep track of time whilst in-sim, check THIS out!
