It’s been a while since I had a go at East Coastway, so thought I’d give it a go. I have noticed a couple of issues (it seems) with Wallsend and Hampden Park crossings – both will autoraise with routes still set across them. The manual states that the routes across Hampden Park need to be manually cancelled promptly otherwise the crossing will not autoraise; Wallsend, if I understand it, is supposed to behave just like a normal CCTV crossing – ‘TORRing’ the routes across it and then autoraising once all routes have been released. In addition to this, when going through the lowering process at Wallsend, I have had situations where pressing the “clear” button clears the signals, then immediately reverts them to red and raises the barriers. It seems to be a bit intermittent, so once I find a situation where it occurs consistently I will update this thread. Loader version: 4.6.5 Sim version: 1.1 Log in to reply |

I have more information now about Wallsend. It appears to autoraise immediately in front of the second train to pass over the crossing. I wonder if this has anything to do with the old CCV1/CCV9 levers that you used to have to operate when using the crossing? Some more info for when you’re looking into it – Wallsend cannot be cleared now due to a vehicle blocking the crossing and I cannot raise it now either, even if all the routes across it are cancelled. I have a save if needed.

Hampden Park level crossing never needed the levers to be replaced back into the frame for the auto raise to work in real life.
