Greetings all,

I am still trying to do the allocations for my SouthWest Upgrade (Exeter) timetable from June 2018 when the line from Cowley Bridge Junction (inclusive) to Tiverton Loops was closed for flood prevention work. I am, however, having ample trouble trying to get the allocations. If the line closure had been at a weekend I could have gone to Exeter and spent time noting the allocations there. But that didn't come to pass: c'est la vie.

I have now made a start trying to put some of the allocations in. The Barnstaple line closure means that at least some of the Exmouth - Exeter shuttles are allocated as 2/150 but I have no certainty if that is correct.

In such a situation, and bearing in mind that I wish to made it as accurate as possible, is guesswork on the traction allocations OK? I am down to guesswork as it stands, mostly based around photos on Flickr and timetables created for Exeter sim by other users, as I am keen to get things done and run a test session or two before releasing the TT into public domain.

What would be better is if I could get hold of someone who is able to give me, direct from the source, allocations for some of the trains. Anyone able to help? If so a PM would be great if you don't want to respond publicly on the forum.

Cheers,
Dave

Quick update on this one. An enthusiast friend, who is not a member of SimSig, did some trainspotting at Taunton and Exeter during the course of the Cowley Bridge closure and has kindly loaned me his notes which contain unit numbers that he observed.

Therefore I hope to have this timetable finished in the near future: I will run testing sessions on it prior to offering it for release. It will be a fun TT.

Dave
