Four extra timetables for the compact Cathcart simulation are now available via the downloads section. Weekday versions feature the more intensive off-peak service which operated from electrification to 1983, with even more trains in peak hours. Much more to do than in 2006 or 2015. Playing with failures selected is a test! A Saturday 1974 timetable is also available for a quick blast, though even that gets complex at times.

Any bugs should be reported using this thread. Please also assist with any information about "Footex" specials to/from Hampden Park on Saturdays in 1974/75, especially for May 18th, 1974 when Scotland - who had qualified for the World Cup - stuffed England (who had failed to qualify). Any help gratefully received...

If Scotland 2 England 0 at Hampden Park on May 18th. 1974 is a stuffing, how would you describe Scotland 0 England 5 at Hampden Park on February 14th. 1973?

The 1982-83 timetables have now been updated to V1.1. All known issues with V1.0 have been fixed. In pratice this mainly involved correcting headcodes for trains terminating at/ starting from Kirkhill and adding a couple of ECS workings which couldn't previously be verified.

The timetables are with the Mods for approval and ahouls be available soon.

The 1974 timetables have also been updated to V1.1 and are with the Moderators for approval. V1.1 resolves all issues and unknowns from V1.0. The weekday version also now includes freight traffic and ECS workings using the Maxwell Park route previously not identified. Both instances of extra traffic vary by day of week.

An additional itemn of interest was identified during ongoing research about which I would be interested to find out more. On Mondays, the weekday morning mpty EMUs to Neilston worked from Smithy Lye sidings. On Fridays the evening equivalent worked to Glasgow Central. During the week (Monday night to Thursday night), the unit(s) stabled in the loop at Cathcart (missing from SimSig as released), presumably with the crew travelling as passengers to/from Glasgow. Does anybody have more information or pictures of this stabling activity?
