Following on from the discussion about the longest sim a few of us were wondering how many High & Low level stations are on the same sim? For instance Heath HL and Heath LL are on the Cardiff Valleys sim, and London Bridge has HL and LL together, but we're struggling to think of any more.

Any offers?

West Hampstead includes St Pancras High Level and Low Level.

NLL sim includes Stratford Low Level and part of the High Level station. The track layout has of course changed significantly since that sim was released and the Low Level station is now part of the DLR.

Only a small part of Stratford High Level is included there.

Googling 'split-level station' gives me Portsmouth & Southsea, where the low level is next to rather than directly below the high level. But that's the case at London Bridge too, I think?

The stations are St Pancras International and St Pancras Thameslink, not High & Low level.

It does, but you could raise the ojection that the HL part isn't fully simulated and will probably end up on a Stratford area aim rather than the NLL.

St Pancras is one station with multiple sections and levels. If you look on real time trains for instance it reports all platforms including the Eurostar and the low level platforms.

Identical behaviour occurs at Liverpool lime Street and Glasgow Queen Street which appear to use the same location as well.

Semantics aside I think St Pancras is a fair example of where there is a high and low level station controlled by the same sim.

I think this depends on wether you are talking about the official station names or not. If you are talking about upper and lower then you should include Tyndrum in Scotland which is not on a simulation though. Some of the stations given like St. Pancras do have high and low levels but the official station name does not reflect this as being both high and low.
Pedantic or what.......sorry

RealTime Trains has a habit of collapsing timetable schedules at multiple TIPLOCs into a single primary location for search and display purposes.
Low Level Services use STPXBOX, high speed services (SE and ES) use STPANCI, East Midlands use STPX.

However, all passenger service do fall under the same TLC station code of STP.

The name given to the STPXBOX TIPLOC is "St Pancras Low Level"

The forthcoming Sandhills simulation has Moorfields and Liverpool Central (though technically the stations are Low Level and Deep Level)

Don't forget it's Lime Street street as well. Not sure what the official terms are. I've heard mainline and high level for the above ground, and low level, deep level, and wirral line for the juice rail platform.

Lime Street is on two different sims though.

It was more a general comment about the similarity of another station on the same stretch of track.

My favourite example of this kind of station is at Minffordd where the Festiniog Railway has high level platforms and there is a low level platform on the Cambrian route to Pwllheli.

Does Tamworth on the Stafford sim qualify. It is known just as Tamworth but does have four platforms...two high level and two low level.....

I can think of another two in areas surrounding Birmingham, but again on different lines:

Smethwick Galton Bridge

Lichfield TV and High Level

Smethwick would be New Street and a hypothetical Stourbridge sim.

Lichfield is on Aston and Rugby North.

Thus neither are on the same sim.
