Have been a user for over 15 years. Got a new computer and wish to access simulations as previously. I had Royston - can't find it listed used as a trainer Stafford - but only a new paid for version and Bristol - but only a new paid for version Any help to proceed would be appreciated Log in to reply |

You need to download the system files from here. Then when it's installed run "Check for updates" All the simulations you have listed are "donation-ware" and don't require a license to run once downloaded via the method above. That's great I have not been able to find Bristol - but that may have been a previously subscribed sim?

My apologies I'd forgotten that Bristol hadn't made it onto the loader yet. You can find it here. Note that you launch it via it's own program, and not via the loader. Sorry to query The download I loaded does not seem to support Royston? Not tried Stafford. Position of Bristol noted but I must have previously paid for it. David Log in to reply |

Yes done all of that; also got Bristol ok For Royston says This sim uses features not supported. Need to update loader (but the loader is the new one just downloaded to start the sim Very grateful for your help. Just got to nip to shop be back later Log in to reply |

You need to make sure you have run the "Check for updates" feature. In the bottom corner of the loader it should say V4.11 And Royston should say V4.1.2 in the simulation description window. As you say Royston is v4.12 However the loader is v4.69 Perhaps this makes a difference? Confirmed check for updates run Log in to reply |

Bristol and Royston have never been payware, so the most you may have done is make a donation. Stafford was payware some decades ago and then went donationware, that version is no longer available. I suspect per your previous threads that your anti-virus is blocking the updater from running correctly. I can only suggest disabling it briefly to allow the update to run. Does the updater error at all? Actually come to think of it, have you definitely downloaded the system files from the website, and installed them today? Or are you resuming from a previous installation? If you haven't already done so today please go and download them, install them, then run check for updates. I only got the new computer yesterday so today is the first and only time I have loaded to this kit. It loads without error Anti virus is pre installed and has not affected any other downloads. I would really like Royston as it is the only one I can really work being somewhat more straightforward Head scratching in progress here! but thanks again Log in to reply |

If it is relevant Royston is highlighted RED bold in the list. Stafford is black and Stafford opens and runs as expected. These are the only two sims downloaded,
