Hi all,

Anyone that has downloaded one of the historic Kings Cross or Peterborough timetables will, almost certainly, find this You Tube video of interest..

I walk around inside the questions of my day, I navigate the inner reaches of my disarray, I pass the altars where fools and thieves hold sway, I wait for night to come and lift this dread away : Jackson Browne - The Night Inside Me

Looks like an interesting video Vince. I'll have to split the viewing into several sessions though as it's so long.

Cheers Vince mate thanks for this. Certainly brought back memories for me. athe Peak in P3 at Doncaster with 4 coaches was intereting, maybe a Sheffield to Hull replacement servive vice a DMU. Dringhouses Yard at York certainly looked busy back then too. Great vdeo.

I would lay money on it being a Manchester Hull replacing a failed 31 Mk2 BFK +3TSO were the normal formation for the southern Transpennine Loco Hauled in those days with the Paddington Hull being Mk2 'Coffins' (Air Con for those that have never heard the term before)

Passed the age to be doing 'Spoon Feeding' !!!

I can't say that I agree with the driver at around the 14-minute mark that DOO is a good idea on trains which already have guards ...

I'm surprised that more HSTs didn't pass in the 3 hours that it took to reach York. I recall one just before Peterborough and a second at Doncaster station or is my memory worse than at this time last week??
