05:47:32 Signal lamp failure detected in the Penzance area During investigation, I can see from the Incident Control Panel that it's PZ19 that has a problem, but on the panel, PZ19 is lit (as are all the other shunt signals in the route to P3). 05:48:27 5S35 has entered: Penzance T&RSMD (West) 05:50:03 5S35 waiting at red signal PZ19 (Penzance area) 05:50:51 5S35 still waiting at unlit signal PZ19 (Penzance area) Is this an "old-style" shunt signal where the white lamp has failed and it's showing a single red, or is it a bug ? This appears to be a common feature of all sims: see this old thread for instance.

Its correct behaviour as not all real shunt signals have lamp proving. both lights could be out but the panel has no way of displaying it to the signaller.
