Option for trains entering sim to enter via adjacent line 08/11/2020 at 08:21 #133690

One small observation for the London Bridge mini-sim.

I was unfortunate enough to get a failure on the up switch diamond at Blue Anchor, which essentially meant I had no way to bring anything in on the up fast line until the failure was fixed. With this occurring at the worst possible time in the morning peak, once the failure was resolved the subsequent unrelenting backlog of trains ended up leaving a mess which eventually became a little unmanageable.

Is there any prospect of having the option to put "BLOK" in the first TD berth to force stuff to enter on the adjacent line to cater for this sort of scenario? One difficulty is that this wouldn't be viable for trains entering ex Greenwich as the track layout doesn't allow them to reach the fast lines (even for trains entering ex New Cross on the slows it's much more awkward to reach the fasts). Even if the option was only available for slow vice fast it would help, and would be more reflective of reality as in real life I don't think the whole up fast service would just be allowed to sit completely still for over an hour!

Really enjoying the mini-sim, it allows one to play London Bridge as a single player and without having to scroll, so many thanks to the developers for this one.
