A number of these appear on the West Yorkshire sim.
Could someone please explain what they represent. I’ve looked online but can’t find anything credible. I could have missed something though.

I think it stands for Signal Group Replacement Control. I believe it replaces all the signals in the area to Red. I'm sure there are others who can explain it in better detail.

Correct. Routes are pulled and auto signals with replacement facilities replaced to red and each have to be restored individually once the SGRC is restored.

It was a better solution to the ESOC (emergency signals on control) that killed the interlocking, leaving you blind, which is not desirable for event logging purposes in an incident.

Thanks.

I'd obviously seen that when I read the manual but, as with most people, I don't remember everything that I've read. In fact, I probably don't remember most of it and that's why I copy some sections into a Word document which I have open (but minimised) whilst playing a sim. Saves having to go through multiple clicks to get to the manual.

Ah the old “document is uncontrolled once printed” problem.

I’d recommend just referring to the live/online version of the manual - for exactly the reason you’ve highlighted, there’s no guarantee you’ve copied it correctly.
