Each time you refresh you'll get an up to date running on each train as time passes. Once the delay, early running, RT running is shown in the F8 then that's when to expect it, any further time lost or made up will be happening on the sim itself.

As mentioned, when I print off the simplifier, I use a pencil and update each train as I refresh it the simplifier.

RT = Right Time.

Cheers
Craig
That's what I need to do then. I didn't print the simplifier, I've been updating it in the Word document.
Change of tactics required.

In the ‘Performance Data View, Train Running’ list there is some useful information regarding whether or not trains are running to their scheduled time.
However, some trains are not listed, which isn’t very helpful and, in this instance, 1N04 is not. This is a pity as I’d like to know if it is running late. So, what determines whether a train appears in the list and have I missed something else that would tell me?

The reason that I ask is because I have a Class-4 freight (4E08) in the Grantham Goods Loop which is destined for Newark and Loversall Carr Jn. 1N04 is due to enter at Stoke Jn. in a few minutes and I don’t think that I can get the class-4 to the Claypole Loop in time to avoid delaying the Class-1
...

Bugsy, I have bolded in you post the reason why 1N04 is not shown in the Train Running Report window. It has not yet entered the sim, so there is no report of what time the train entered the sim and so the overall delay to the train entering is not known

Ok. I see that now, thanks for putting me straight. I think that I need to tinker a little bit more. Just found loads of extra trains by dragging down the bottom of the 'Train Running' window. It would appear that they are all trains that have entered and most of which have left the sim area.

Could you tell me who uses this information and for what purpose?

That is correct. Any train which has entered the sim with a TT (or was formed in the sim) will be shown here (in alpha numerical order). You can then click on each train and get a break down of the timing points and where the train lost time

The information in the raw sense is used to produce the scoring information for the sim and is then available for refrence. In the real world, it would be used by Delay Attribution

A useful record of faults, etc.
