Hi I'm Bob6864 I've used Simsig for a while, mainly the free Exeter simulation which is great. I've purchased a license today for the Oxford sim, an area I know well. It looks really good in demo mode. I've been into My Licenses & found the purchase, I've clicked it & the used box is ticked, but it didn't give me the opportunity to allocate it to my PC the box is greyed out. When I run Simsig Oxford still comes up in demo mode, even if I reboot my computer. I've tried to find out more but the License Manager link in the "I've paid for a sim but it only runs in demo mode", gives "An error occurred while processing your request" Any ideas??

What version of the loader are you using, sounds like you need to update

That FAQ is out of date- I've updated the Wiki page. As long as your computer is connected to the internet, the license should allocate automatically. As TUT said, ensure that your Loader is up to date- you should be on Version 5.16.1, if not you'll need to update. Thanks Steamer & TUT. I've checked my loader & it is version 5.16.1, so it is up to date & no later version is found when I've clicked the update button. I've rebooted my computer to relink to the internet, but Oxford still only runs in demo mode, even though it is shown in My Licenses. Any other thoughts? Log in to reply |

Are you logging into Loader with the correct credentials? Username and Password should be the same as your account on here. Log in to reply |

Have you entered your username and password into the Loader screen and is there a green tick to the right? Are you able to post a screenshot of what you're seeing? In Zone 6, no one can hear you scream... Log in to reply |

Thank you - the loader password was incorrect so it wasn't signing in. Its now all OK
