Morning,

I was wondering whether a section addressing how to upload a timetable could be added to the Simsig Wiki? (I have looked and could find nothing, unless I have been incredibely dense!)

I know how to write a timetable, but when it comes to doing the necessary for the Simsig masses to enjoy I fall flat on my face and lose my way.

Cheers.

Paul,

from what I have just looked at it should be fairly simple from the Forum rather than having to look it up in the Wiki, which would have had the old instructions in most likely. Remember we are all having to find the new ways with this different forum setup... especially as all files need to be moderated and checked before being finally posted for the masses and this (as the text says) can take up to 7 days.

Click on Downloads/Uploads then at the bottom is a Submit File button. There is a fairly long list of fields to complete but obviously the first one is the browse function to find the file at your end. Other entries may well be understandable to you as a developer but if there are any awkward questions get back to us.

Remember, the Wiki is only a depository of experiences - we don't know what we need until we have a 'bad' experience! Obviously, once you have been there and done that, perhaps YOU might like to write the new Wiki article!! (How's that for delegation) ....

Hope this helps you and many others.

Ken
