...Or I don't think it is! Hello all, Sorry I've lost the plot as always, some time ago, probably a couple of years ago, I am certain there was a publicly available document online that listed by region all the planned line blocks and lineside inspection details for that week I think, and at what times, might have been any TSR info as well I cannot remember, certainly was line blocks. I'm sure it was laid out in columns and outlined where the block was and at what times. For the life of me I cannot remember what this was called, weather it was Line Possession, Engineering Details I don't know, and where it was I have no idea! I thought it was on the Network Rail site like the Sectional Appendix Maps and the Working Timetables are but I can't find it, and I searched 'Line Possession' in their search box and get results like 'How Fast Can We Build A Station?' Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Is this still available and may I be pointed in the right direction please? Any help is most appreciated! James Log in to reply |

Does http://www.gensheet.co.uk/ROTR.htm help ? It is my links into a copy of the Engineering Access Statement files (formerly roules of the route) Sounds like you might be after 'section4' standard possession opportunities. Link has been posted above, screenshot attached to this post. I think at one time speed restriction details did used to be published externally on the NR website every week and could now very well be part of the open data feeds too but I don’t know enough about the open data feeds to direct you to it. Internally all the ESR and TSR statistics for each route (as opposed to just the details shown in the ESR Wires and WONs) are now tracked with dashboards through Microsoft Power BI (again, screenshot attached to this post)   Post has attachments. Ahh! The one on Gensheet that was it! Completely forgot about that, that was the one I was thinking of Thank you very much for that, and the other responses as well, didn't know the speed restriction's used to be posted. Open train time maps handy to see where the track blocks are if you remember to look on the day of course, can't find much (might not be looking properly mind!) about the Waterloo Main Slow's from this weekend, I did have a look on the OTT map yesterday to see the Down Main Slow was closed, but the Up Main Slow seemed to be unaffected and trains running, yet they were not booked to call at Vauxhall 'due to engineering work' but today (Sunday) the Up Main was closed. Makes sense not calling at Vauxhall on the fast otherwise you'd clog up the expresses, but not calling when on the slow line seemed a bit odd, which makes me think maybe it was meant to be closed on Saturday as well...
