Morning all. Just had to gete a new laptop since my old one died. Have got all the purchased items transfered over but the "Donationware" sims are not listed anywhere (Sims like Exeter, Bristol, Southampton etc). I see that these are listed under Donations for Simulations but I've done that when I originally got these items. Are these items lost now? Log in to reply |

Lost unless you can rescue the files from the old hard drive or you have backups of the original downloads. Not available for 'new' downloads. There are instructions on setting up old sims from rescued hard drives somewhere on here in a similar thread. Log in to reply |

Exeter is available on the SimSig Loader and can be obtained by clicking 'check for updates' if it isn't already in there. It remains donationware, so no license is required to play it. There are a number of other donationware simulations available on the Loader as well. The Bristol and Southampton .exe simulations have been withdrawn and are no longer available. Bristol is in the process of being re-built. "Don't stress/ relax/ let life roll off your backs./ Except for death and paying taxes/ everything in life.../ is only for now."
