Looking at the track diagram at Weaver Junction there seems to be an extra crossover / passing loop just before turning left towards Runcorn and right towards Warrington after signal WD169 that's not in the sim era 2016 - 2023. Does anybody know when this was put in IRL and if it's a missing feature?

Those crossovers were taken out years ago (they're present in earlier eras on the sim), suspect the diagram is wrong.

Ah, explains why those signals are controlled. Should have known to check an earlier era.

Hi,

They're not on TrackMaps 2018 and I couldn't find any information in MR Trackwatch. I don't see those crossovers on Google Maps either.

Thanks
Jamie

Without having the information in front of me, I believe that the crossovers went around or sometime just after 2007

They're in the 2005 Quail, which is consistent with that.

What is the possibility of having a difficulty mode between easy and medium? As in, TDs have to be manually inputted but delays are reduced. I've found in medium difficulty the delays on trains entering are a little too excessive/common.

You can always adjust the delay and failure settings in F3 to suit the level/frequency that you want.
That being said, there is not a difficulty setting of easy in crewe. Are you refering to the scale of problems which has none, low, medium and high?

Yes, sorry. It's not the failure rate which I'm finding to be the issue. On medium, scale of problems, setting the number of trains entering the area with a large delay seems a little excessive but dropping down to low means you lose out on having to manually enter headcodes (only a minor issue).

As said above though, you can start in Medium (to keep manual headcode entry), then open options and turn down the delay settings to your preferred level.

I didn't realise the sliders in the options (F3) change the timetable delay within the incident control panel on each schedule (F4). My bad.

I've noticed that routes from Gresty Lane to Up Arrival No.2 aren't show however the shunt light is given, is this intentional?

EDIT: I've also noticed that I can't seem to accept a slot for trains from CSSN to Crewe PSB since the update

Do you happen to have a save game, and please can you confirm the sim version? I've tried to reproduce but without any success

6F31 in the supplied TT ignores the Potteries Loop timing point despite being held at CE119, the TT simply updates to Crewe as it waits so I don't get the chance to tell the train to wait time.
In a similar vein the same seems to happen with services booked to wait in the Up Manchester Loop, the TT steps right to Crewe as the train waits at CE152
Still happening in the latest update at the Potteries, haven't had any UML services to check that.

There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

Issue is still open on Mantis as it is reliant on another issue before a fix can be effected

Using HST125Scorton's Pre-Covid TT in the 2016-2023 era. Trying to get a train out of the Crewe DED at GL9042 but setting a route from GL9042 to 9032 results in the train sitting at GL37 (with no moves possible), which isn't visible on the panel and I suspect doesn't exist in the era as it's in the same location as GL9042 in the earlier eras.

Found a typo:

When asking Crewe Carriage Shed to send a train, in his response it is spelt 'Permission granted for ... (Crewe Cariage Shed 1 or 2)'

And another thing: When requesting the permission and later due to a failure 'cancelling all acceptances' and after that later requesting permission again, I get the response 'That train has already been accepted! Permission is for Crewe Cariage Shed (1 or 2)'

Mantis 40002 for the incorrect spelling.
Mantis 38226 Initially for the cancelling of all acceptances, however, I've came across a few other issues across a few other sims reagrding this and will require to speak to the Devs for further advice. This ticket is showing resolved, but that is subject to change after aforementioned conversations.

Update 18/12/2023: Mantis 38226 has been reopened for attention. Thanks

As mentioned in this thread, Down Arrival is electrified but shows No OHLE in the 2023 era.
