Hi all!

I recently sent a train into Mossend Down Yard via Down Reception 2 and signal MY309. Unfortunately, the panel supervisor has forgotten to reset the signal after the passage of the train, so I attempted to contact them, but there are no options in the drop down list to request them to reset the signal.

I am playing via SimSig using wine/PlayOnLinux and was wondering if this was a feature of using wine, or if there was something else going on…

Screenshot and save attached.

Thanks all!

Mark (Gwasanaethau)

I'm on W10 and loader v5.26. When I load your saved game and ring Mossend Yard Control there is a single option in the dropdown to "Please switch signal M309". I send that and the signal reverts straight away.

Ahh…it’s definitely a Wine issue so! I think Peter outlined a workaround in another post that involves editing the save file that I’ll have to use to fix it.

Thanks for testing it for me!

Mark.

Just checked and when I ran your saved game my system had incorrectly picked a beta version of Motherwell (v5.5) I have stored away from my main SimSig files. Trying again and forcing use of the released version of Motherwell (v5.4) I have the same problem as you, so not a Wine problem. With any luck there will be a release of an update for Motherwell before too long which will then cure the problem.
