Cornwall Seeding at PZ1R Interposes TD at signal in rear 06/04/2024 at 17:59 #155972

I'm seeding a train at PZ1R, which is a repeater signal in the exit from the block section from St. Erth and Penzance.

The TD for train B is interposed at the signal in the rear, SE7.

When I test this at other repeaters I get mixed results:
most not interposing the TD at all where the the repeater is shown in uncircuited track
most interposing at the signal in advance where the repeater is in the same track circuit as the main signal
however PZ1R behaves differently as described above.

The workaround is don't seed at repeater signals.

Given the option to seed at repeater signals is available, if possible, please could the TD be interposed at the signal in advance. As this is where the TD would be if the train was in the same position under normal running as when seeded at the repeater.

The train now standing on platform 2, should be on the rails

It would always advisable not to interpose at repeaters or distants.

Suggest you seed at P1 with 999m seed gap.

Mantis 40683 for a solution, which would probably be to stop seeding at repeaters.
