Nice video, well shot and narrated. That is an impressive zoom you have there, and steady as an (Adrian) Rock!

Fantastic stuff. Loved the zoom so much I went about as green [with envy] as the stem on a daffodil!

Don't blame for you being surprised at the signaller giving priority to that other up Chiltern train, I was also surprised.

Watching that video also surprisingly helped me learn something new as I was wondering about the white aspect in-between the two main aspects for the Central Line.

Thanks for sharing.

The white aspect is explained here: http://www.davros.org/rail/signalling/articles/central.html

What it means, roughly, is that trains may proceed if they're under either ATO or ATP ("Coded Manual"control. It is safe to pass this signal, but the train will need to stop *before* the next signal, not at it. (More precisely, it needs to stop at a block marker point, which is a "signal" for ATP purposes but doesn't have a physical display.)

You also see white aspects on the Victoria Line, though they're lunar white.

Thanks for the link Clive. How depressing to find all speeds in km/h. As someone approaching more senior years I much prefer imperial mph!
