North East Scotland

Introduction

This SimSig simulation covers a large geographical area between Dunblane and Ladybank to the South and Aberdeen and Dyce to the North. The sim notionally represents the area around 2009 with an option to show the 2010 Montrose resignalling. However, there maybe some variations and inconsistencies. The area covered is controlled by some 25 boxes, all bar three of which are lever frame boxes controlling semaphore signals. The area is dominated by Absolute Block operation; see the Features section for more details.

Despite its size, the area has a relatively low traffic density, making it manageable by a single player.
