I have a train coming in from wolvercot junction into Banbury then it goes back towards greenford junction via bicester north however this is a freight class 6 so it will only have the one engine at the front so I want to make it run around Banbury so the engine will be facing aynho junction. So far it works up to between Banbury platform 3 but when getting it to stop at either aynho junction or a reversing signal outside the station i get the error message no no route between location Banbury and location Banbury

Is the route there to get from the reversing point to the platform?

Have you set the reversing point on the TT as the apppopriate signal?

On the south side, the following path worked for me: BAN P1 -> BAN Rec Rd -> BAN S (Rev. 9111) -> BAN P3

I must admit, I couldn't work out how to run around the Fenny Compton side though...!

There appears to be a path missing between Banbury North and Banbury (Mantis 20164), meaning you can't timetable a reversal at the north end at the moment.

Not necessarily- if it's an engineer's train it could be top and tailed. It could also be a track machine (a tamper, for example). Where's the train coming from/going to, and what's the timing load?

Isn't 6J42 a Colas tamper headcode?

Assuming that Kims dated the TT wrong in the 0Z06 thread and is doing Xmas Eve as per this thread https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Forum/ThreadView/47581. As you can see 6J42 is indeed a Colas tamper

6J42

Runs on 24/12/2017
VSTP schedule runs Su from 24/12/2017 - 24/12/2017
Operated by Colas
Civil Engineers
Diesel Locomotive
Timed to run at 134mph

BTW Kim on VSTP ignore the timed to run at speeds as all VSTPs do not generate the correct timing speed

Passed the age to be doing 'Spoon Feeding' !!!

For VSTP the number is in metres per second (60mph in this case). I can't remember the back story, probably VSTPs are prepared on a different system to regular timetables.

Surely 134 metres per second is even faster? As close as makes no difference 300 mph?

I think it's that a value in mph is being entered into the system, however the system thinks the input is in m/s, which it then converts to mph.

60m/s = 134mph

I refer to my earlier comment. Just back to front, that is all.
