Please note that this thread reflected the policies in effect at the time of posting. In the years since this was posted things have changed. As mentioned last year, we have reviewed our pricing structure to better reflect simulation size, complexity, and other factors. Internally we have a number of simulation categories (basically like clothing sizes, S, M, L, XL etc) and the price is fixed for each category. Some have gone down in price, some up, and some remain the same. We've also changed the multibuy deals. New users can still use the NEWUSER coupon code (15%) for their first purchase of 1 or more simulations. But now anybody can use the new coupon code MULTIBUY (15%) when purchasing 2 or more simulations together. (the obsolete sections of the website will be removed shortly) SimSig Boss Last edited: 09/07/2022 at 16:08 by GeoffM Reason: Disclaimer Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Trainfan344 |

I just dived in & bought Sheffield & West Yorkshire, both are well worth the £30. A lot of graft has gone into producing two great sims, many thanks all.

G'day Geoff, I was just wondering why I had to go to the forum to read about the "multibuy" offer. I purchased the 2 new sims today for the grand total of $116.93 Australian. When sims were released previously the offer was prominently displayed on the appropriate page.

PayPal don't automatically issue the command back to this website that the purchase is complete so licenses have to be manually issued which may add a day or two. You see my monthly payday is 11th of each month due to awkwardly placed bills a few days after.. Of course, there's the risk that you forget that money is pending withdrawal and you use it for something else, causing you to potentially go overdrawn. You either tell PP to send the money - well, you pay back your mini loan from PP - or PP automatically deduct the funds from your bank account if you do nothing. The payment protections are still there. SimSig Boss Log in to reply The following user said thank you: HST125Scorton |

PayPal's help page on this facility is here: https://www.paypal.com/uk/smarthelp/article/what-is-pay-after-delivery-faq918 It appears that the money is automatically debited from your bank account 14 days after placing the order. Needless to say, beware the risk of going overdrawn with either PayPal or your bank. I also echo Peter's comment- if you have doubts, contact PayPal directly. After a good read about it, I'll attempt it and see how it goes. Once 11th arrives the payment will made to PayPal or 14 days to which is 12th April. So its loan I have to pay PayPal. PayPal gives SimSig the money straighaway once I've purchased. Aaron (AJRO) | Timetable Writer Log in to reply |

I use Payment after delivery quite often. Not everywhere allows this option, but it seems that here, it does. Yes, you have up to 14 days before the payment is taking from your bank account. You also have the option to settle the debt before then. This "Echeck" thing is new to me, and caught me out last month when buying fluid for my vaporiser. I hadn't noticed that the transaction had gone through with this method (As it normally goes through right away, or I select payment after delivery if its within the 14 days before payday) anyway, It was just under 10 days before my product WOULD have been posted and delivered*. Saturday and Sunday are non banking days, so they do not count. So you have to count Monday to Friday only (excluding bank holidays). With this method, the company that you are buying from are instructed as such, and are advised not to release the product until the payment has been received. Paypal take note of your transaction habits and how long it takes for them to be squared way (PAID). If you have ever ran your Paypal account into a minus balance, they will instantly stop "pay after delivery". They then do not allow you to have that option until they are satisfied that you can sufficiently fund your paypal account when required. Paypal had taken the money from my account when the transaction was placed, but wouldn't release the funds until the estimated date, that they emailed you with and is on your transaction receipt, had been reached AND even then it was a couple days later before the shop I had bought from received the clear to proceed with transaction. Thankfully, in this instance, the shop I use for my Fluids is my mates shop and he sent me them anyway, knowing that he knows "where to find me". *My mate let me know when they got the all clear to proceed.
