Great TT!

Played a couple of hours of this so far, fantastic timetable! It's amazing how much freight there was in this area at this time. I'm thoroughly enjoying it right now! I'm also pretty impressed by all the hard work that has clearly gone into this, so thanks Pascal and anyone else who might have helped out!

Glad you like it. I must admit this will be one of my favourite dimd/timetables & having actually been responsible for the povision of motive power in this area for a number of years it's nice to see how the signalling side handled the hige volumes of coal traffic in the Aire Valley.

This has been fixed and a new version will be sent out early next week, along with any necessary sim updates.

I'm loving the sheer number of 56s that were running about here. Always one of my fave locos

Another 2 I'm afraid.

2F57 arrives Knottingly and forms 5F56. It should form 5F60. Its' out by 2 hours.

At Milford West 7K90 and 6K80 are both wanting to form the same train 7M52. 0M52 is on the way to Join 7K90. Something wrong with 6K80?
Save attached.

This TT really is fantastic with the amount of freight!

2F57 fixed. The 6K80 one is going to take a bit more head-scratching! It might just sit there as a spare set, but I am going to have to ask Pascal to dig a bit deeper. I suggest you just leave it there for now and let me know if it gets in the way of anything - it shouldn't.

Another I'm afraid,

0K951335FX Shouldn't exist. 6K95FX0306 does not need an engine change. It only requires an engine change on 6K95FO.

The 1991 has also had a few amendments to it, namely the MGR sets which load at Allerton Bywater(Leadston Branch). They actually ran direct to Castleford via Fairburn Tunnel & the whole train propelled down the Leadston branch from Castleford to load at Allerton Bywater due to there being no run round road at the colliery. Trains however on there return ran via Prince of Wales & Pontefract Monkhill. Thanks James for the info.

This amendment won't be in the update that will be released overnight (hopefully) but it will be in the next one, which will be in the next two weeks.

This is the latest sim have just bought. Great tt enjoying it. Weird problems its a Fri and 6k95 in sudofrth ews does not detach der loco to run back to knottingley as it never detaches. All the rest do. OK LE engines going to milford sidings I routed mainline to the shunt signal east side and it complained yet ok through the sidings to the same signal. 6k97 reversing into up siding at pontefract monkhill has to go past station and then reverse in which leaves name on the line. Weird LE moves to knottingley from ferrybridge direction you send via goods line past the depot to the signal before the LC. I have phoned for permission etc but when setting route into depot it does not go as facing other way (ie sudforth direction) and says end of track section or run out of. Have to tell it to reverse and go through red light everytime. If Le from Sudforth of course no problem going in same side.
I seem to have too many trains in Sudforth sidings to stable and then a colliery train for sudforth lol was shunting a train in and out 6k86 with some intersting moves and blocking the area. Mmmm may just start again lol!

Just a small note a 7x series engine for the glassworks from ferrybridge direction has passing of Royston jcn (which is last timing point so guessed it is the glassworks) but its not on the sim like the other jcns just before it. All the above happens in the 2 to 4 am time.

Anyway great sim and will await update!

The timetable has had an edit regarding locos going onto Knottingley TMD. They should now all run via England Lane Xing which was rthe usual way locos at that time went onto Knottingley TMD. You mention you are running a FRI, but definbately don't re-call having the problems you've encountered whilst testing the timetable after I completed writing it. I will discuss this with Kev shortly.

Royston junction isn't an actual junction. It was formerly the junction for Royston colliery with the line continuing to Cudworth Station for monk Bretton or for grimethorpe colliery. By this time its effectively a passing point "at the site of" Royston junction. Cudworth and Royston closed one their respective collieries did solely leaving the branch to monk Bretton.

Running a Friday TT as it randomly selected that one. Am attaching to saves at 0322 am and snapshot 0330 6k95 in sudworth sidings. At 07.49 6k79 is at Monk bretton as tt is okensahw then royston then monk bretton. Royston not labelled on sim.

Also OK LE runs to knottingley from ferrybridge direction through the arr line to up down goods line stops at sig FE6423 as per tt. Obviously rang for permission etc, so set route back into tmd and train is facing down not up.

One early LE OK95 from Knottingley TMd was the wrong one selected to join 6k95 in Milford sidings as the long ID did not match. I changed it to correct Long id and it joined up.

Using current loader 4.11 and updater 4.6.9.0 and everything up to date.
Hope the saves may help.

Running the Thursday TT, I wrongly routed 6G02 0200 Barrow Hill - Milford West Sdsgs towards Gascoigne Wood at Milford Jn and he took the signal instead of calling up to complain about a wrong route. I'm sorry I don't have a save as I only realised my error after 6G02 had long gone.

I don't think that wrong route code can help here as you can get to Milford West directly, or by reversing having headed towards Gascoigne wood. Neither can be a wrong route really.

Which engine was it? Also, which version of the timetable do you have?

I can't find an 0K95 in the timetable that goes to Milford West. The only ones in the tt go to Sudforth Lane.

Using current 1991 tt supplied attach save at 04.00am 6k95 insidings but no OK95 to detach loco and has not move since going to sudforth. When started tt the fax said its Friday tt had 0K95 come out of knot tmd and it said ID was FO1335 instead of the FO0333 which joined 6k95 then went to sudforth sidings. I changed the train when near milford to get it to join. Note 6K87 prob is stopped at Pontefract Monkhill per tt to reverse into upsiding ubt is not past points so had to route train to pontefract tanshelf to clear sidings poinst then reverse.

05.30 am snapshot with 0K81 on goods line to signal FE6423 where it will not reverse once route is set to tmd. 0K91 from Sudforth no problem at all going in same way from lc. I note I can detach loco and go headshunt and around empty line in sudforth or to los signal and run back which is good.

06.00 snapshot showing 0K78 crossing lc with overlap, have to wait for time out then route to tmd as it does not let me do it direct as says no overlap. Note 6d43 shaftholme and haywodd jcn enters for Kellingley colliery at it gets stuck as cannot route into sudforth as totally full at time unless I have messed things up here. Had to route 6k76 temp out towards knottingley to get colliery train in then route back in lol prob not in real life! Later a train leaves Kellingley about 7.00 or so and again all 3 sidings blocked so cannot get out.

Hope this helps.
