I notice the thread has now been locked due to age but have not seen a notice that this has been fixed. I have found this is occurring in Manchester Piccadilly when calling on trains into an occupied platform but cannot find reference to this in the forum.

Yes, that's the one. I have found call on into an occupied platform doesn't clear so train has to be cautioned past the signal. When in platform, route does not cancel but trains do attach.
