There are some things that happen every year at this time that drive lots of people to distraction while having no practical value (are you listening Noddy Holder - the rest of us have no choice?). Here's another item to add to that category. Once again a list of clues taking you to 50 stations from the Network Rail December 2023 listing. The clues are the product of a warped mind and vary from the cryptic to the factual. The numbers in brackets are the number of letters in the answer. If you think you know the answer to a clue post here and I'll keep the list updated as the answers come in. The choice is yours; waste your time with this or move on to something more interesting! 2 Pitsea 45 Sandhills? Nevermind on that 16 guess, my sleep-deprived self seems to have fully missed the implied meaning of "cliff of the river avon", and just got confused by the actual Avoncliff station being so far away from the bridge.
