Is there a way the West Hampstead sim could be updated to include the slips at St Pancras onto the ECML. Would make this sim even more enjoyable and not just have Bedford/ Luton/st Albans Thameslinks. Just an ask? Log in to reply |

theres more to it than that though. platforms were lengthened along the whole route I believe with some signalling alterations and you've also got things like Sundon UGL and the double slows lines Bedford - Kettering to add.

The whole Thameslink core is radically different, plus the MML's raised speed limits, quad tracking and electrification through Sharnbrook, new stations.... Plus the sim is out of support anyway. WHich is a pity as I would also have liked an update to include the Thameslink core and also a related modern era update for KGX to include not only the Thameslink core but also the current layout at Kings Cross (reinstatement of the third tunnel) and the extra platform at Stevenage. Hi Regardless that the sims are now out of support. It's not just as simple as looking at online layouts and editing the sim. In some instances a full rebuild could be needed, and that alone can only be done if the relevant data is available for all the new changes/upgrades. Then you have to take into account neighbouring sims and data available for them so that chaining consistences aren't broken. Most likely Timetables would have to be altered also.
