Just out of curiosity, I'm assuming these diagrams are simply being done in Paint (and other such programs)?

Can I just say, excellent work so far. Now all I can think of is what this would be like as a sim!

Mine are done in Paint. I think some people use photoshop but it isnt necessary.

Heres one ive done for Leatherhead and Dorking area. Not a real signal box area covered. Thoughts and opinions welcomed.

Not sure I'd want to be the driver of any train shunting onto the Up at Dorking, I'd probably be saying hello to the next Up train as he passes that auto signal...

Theres also a subsidiary signal at the london end of the down platform at Leatherhead for reversing moves back towards Ashtead.

Wow, I like the Dorking one Sam, and Barnsley by jc92!

Sorry I forget who asked about what is it done with, like Sam I've done mine wholly in MS paint. To grab bits like text, station blocks, level crossings with buttons, tunnels, sidings, signals etc, I've just done a print screen on a simulation, pasted that into another MS paint window then just copied it over.

The positioning and laying the sections of track was done with a combination of using OpenBVE route viewer and the NWM Quail map.

The way I make mine is as follows:

Open Paint
Draw large text box
Change font to SIMSIG
Write Track, Text and Signals
Add in Slots (If necessary)
Mark out station and level crossing areas (use select tool). Change secondary colour to orange.
Delete said selected areas and orange rectangle should appear (the station). Do same for Level Crossings.

Only slight difficulty with this is that the size is slightly limited unless multiple text boxes are used.
