favicon.ico uploaded (had to convert from png) but I don't know how often browsers search for and update their icons. Also uploaded the second banner picture. Thanks for the hard work Nick and Ken.

BTW the "lightning bolt" icon is a Delphi icon, standard for executables unless you choose something different which I sometimes forget to do.

Thanks Geoff. Thanks Ken.

Got both the favicon and the banner on the first attempt.

As usual in these cases if anyone doesn't get the new favicon it may a matter of the browsers cache. Usually refreshing the page (F5) or restarting the browser will fix it. Also for those who may have not followed the thread in detail, the top banner comes up randomly so it may take a couple of times until you get the tornado.

Regards,

Nicholas

Nicholas and Geoff,

now we know that it can be done....

these are just suggestions for a set of the topic buttons:-
(Simulating LED signals - I hope! Click for actual size)
Note: they do now incorporate Nicholas's suggestion.
The images have also been enhanced to make them clearer and the filenames should now be the correct ones to replace the originals.

Default Topic New Post Locked Post Locked Topic?

Sticky Info Sticky New Sticky Locked Sticky Hot

Active (Hot) Topic Active New Post Active Locked Sticky Locked Hot

Note - The 12th one in the Index below uses the 4th ones logo and filename!
Also note:- Geoff there appears to be a small bug in the Attachments function that alters underscore to hyphen in filenames! All above hyphens WERE underscore when submitted!

A quick stab at the replacement 'small' icons for the bottom Index:
Geoff - remove the word 'small-' from the filenames before putting in the 'small' directory :)

Looking great Ken.

I've a suggestion for the "locked" icons. The text ends up rather small. Maybe something like this instead:

That is better Nicholas, much firmer - and should be obvious to all.

I will re-do mine with the key and if Geoff is happy, he can put them up for a trial run.

Ken

Hoping to get another Top Image done today...

In the description of what each icon mean (the one at the bottom of each forum page, below the on-line user list and before "powered by Agora"), I still see the old icons.

I suspect that they are from a different set of icons (the urls end like BabyBlue/img/small/icon_locked.png )

If this is the case, we need to update this set too
(and from what I can seen in the html, we should not be restricted to use 16 pz x 16 pz icons here, but we could use bigger icons here)

Thanks for that Anyfile.

As soon as the basic set is confirmed as OK I will redo the Index ones at the bottom. Thanks for the reminder !!

There does look like plenty of space down there to display them.

The latest LED ones will replace those posted earlier (in the same post) to save bandwidth and clutter!

Thanks Anyfile.

The mini versions below can be (I expect) easily redone by resizing the "definite" set once ready or alternatively testing to see if bigger icons could be used. Currently the "mini" versions are 16 x 16 but as Ken said maybe a bigger one could be used (32 x 32?). The only possible issue I can see is that the table might get messed up.

For the technically minded:

The css class for the bottom table are ag_iconsetImg, ag_iconset and ag_clearer which are defined in

From what I've gathered checking the styles, bigger icons *shouldn't* be a problem since only the text style (ag_iconset) defines a height but the image one (ag_iconsetImg) doesn't.

Ken, Geoff, shall we test it? In theory we can test it with just one (there's no need to change the lot of them).

Here's the previous icon shown (the one with the key) resized to 32x32. I've tried 16 x 16 but basically all I get is a green and black smudge.

Nicholas

To all,

post no. 52 now contains all of the latest Icons for the left hand side of the topics area - with thanks to Nicholas for test images and nudges in the right direction!

Any further comments, revisions, suggestions before Geoff tries them out?

I've put all of the Index images in post 52 as well. You must click on them to see how small they are! 16x16 pixels isn't much space!

Nicholas, I've not done any 32x32 ones so Geoff might try your one as a test first to see if the area can take them...
