That's one heck of a delay, and we think we've got problems over here! Driver must have stopped for a curry at somewhere where the service was very slow. Log in to reply The following user said thank you: Emmy |

It's happened closer to home. One of the new S-stock trains went "missing" in Neasden Depot a while back. Well to be fair it was never actually missing, the depot staff simply lost count and didn't realise it was there. When it was finally found, the stock shortages we had suffered for a week or two suddenly eased :doh

Swt have lost a unit a couple of times. Couldn't believe my eyes when I got a blackberry message saying has anyone seen 450xxx recently it was last on this service and we cannot trace its whereabouts. Took them 3 days to find it ended up being in Bournemouth down the back lol.

Ahah "has anyone seen Champs450007 recently?" Here in Italy happened something similar years ago: the hand brake of a locomotive failed during the night and ran off, the morning after they couldn't find it untill, the night after, the workers building a tunnel (that fortunately weren't working the night before) reported a locomotive smashed at the end of it!
