All,
I have started work on getting a Interface Connection map working for this sim, think it would be good to have it active when we are running hosted sims!
I know I will find it useful as when playing the sim on the laptop I have a blown-up overview on my TV with my appropriate Signalling Diagrams tacked up on the wall above it.
If anyone else would be interested let me know, maybe we could have a section on the website for a facility to host these maps with the connections? And if you are hosting you get the permissions to set it up (Which are surrendered after the session?).

Just an idea,
I will find it useful that's for sure, will be good for others to see what is going on aswell!

Joshua

Online
Headshot119 and pedroathome have had some success with this in the past on some sims.

I have done a little bit of work on this in the past getting maps to work with SimSig. While I don't have my "working" code to hand, you're more than welcome to have a look at what I have done.

https://github.com/James-Pedrick/SimSig-Gateway

Please note that this can give an outline to what's been done, but it is not compilable code.

As for making a large scale map, yes it could be done, but if you're thinking of doing down the same route as I did to begin with, which was just a saved image of a simulation with a text based overlay, then things can get rather messy rather quickly.

Within the manual there is some information on the data which comes from the gateway,
https://www.SimSig.co.uk/Wiki/Show?page=usertrack:interface_gateway A search online will bring up some sample code to get started in many different languages

Thanks for the response!
I do already have code that connects to the Network Rail Open Data feeds which I am using for a different project so got an insight into the STOMP Json area of coding!
Thanks for the pointers I will have a look and see what can be done!
I didn't think about going down the route of saving the sim map but I will avoid that! Thanks!
