Hi all,

I don't know if the following is of interest to Clive as this occurs only when the instructions on entering shunt moves are not followed correctly.

If they are followed correctly then there is no problem and everything works as it should.

However, if an entry point has not been specified an access violation occurs when the edit window is closed. I dismissed the access violation message and saved the timetable. When loaded again it was found to be corrupted and the same "Access Violation" message occured. In my case all of the trains except the the light engine moves had been removed when I tried to recover it. I had a recent backup so it wasn't an issue at the time but it would be if you are not in the habit of taking backups regularly.

The problem is repeatable.

The message is "Access Violation at address 004C288E in module "SimsigLoader.exe". Read of address 00000078."

Attached is a screen grab of the message and also the Loader0 log although to my untutored eye there doesn't seems to be anything helpful in that.

I've experienced this as well- I've already raised it on Mantis (#17541) and a second ticket (#17540) is related.

That location turned out to be a piece of code with a clear bug related to shunt moves. Fixed in next release.

Thanks very much.
