There will be a SimSig meet on Saturday 23rd. March 2019 at the Soloman Cutler, Regency Wharf, Broad Street, Birmingham, B1 2DS. This is a venue we have used before and suits our purposes admirably. More details about the venue and meet can be found here in the Wiki.

You can now sign up to attend the Meet by going to the link in the Upcoming Events section of the website or by clicking here.

People may note when signing up that we have added the option to indicate if you would like to attend the after event meal. This will help us book a venue in advance and give them an idea of numbers, which seemed to work really well at the London meet.

If you do change your mind you can always edit your sign up.

The development team are pleased to announce that at least one brand new simulation will be previewed at the March 2019 meet.

Should you wish to speculate over what this simulation may be please use the dedicated thread.

As a quick reminder if you haven't already signed up, you can do so here.

With just under a month to go to the March meet...

If you haven't signed up yet and you want to attend you can sign up here. 24 people are signed up so far, and it'd be great to hit over 30 people attending.

If anyone is in Birmingham on the Friday night a group of us are planning to meet up for some drinks at http://www.postofficevaults.co.uk/ and go for some food. It's all very informal and anyone is welcome, drop me a PM closer to the time for my mobile number.

Sorry guys, I'm going to have to pull out from this gathering.

I'm gonna be in hospital on the Friday and I don't know how well I will be when I come back out.

Craig.

Hope it's nothing too serious.

The registration for the meet is booked to close at the end of Thursday 21st. March. That is only to give me time to prepare the badges before we travel down on the Friday. There is plenty of room at the venue, so if you (or anyone else for that matter) decides on the Friday or the Saturday morning that they want to attend, then please just rock up to the venue. We've given the venue a ball-park number for those attending so a few either way isn't going to make any material difference.

Registration for the meet closes in just over 24 hours from the time I am posting this. If you are attending but haven't already registered and want a twee little badge with your handle and anything else you want to give away about yourself printed neatly across the front, please sign up before the registration closes.

This particular venue has ample room so please feel free to roll up if you decide to come and it is too late to register (but please don't take that for granted for any future meets as it all depends on the space available to us at the venue).

If you have registered but are now unable to attend, please cancel your registration so you don't get marked down as a no-show!

Unable to attend (I'm on the 50 tour to Penzance) - any hints as to the new sim to be previewed or is it to be revealed on the day?
There's the right way, the wrong way and the railway.

The reveal will be on Saturday though I guess we could mention these lyrics...
Quote:
We had our dreams,
To change the world,
As people will,
But now we're known as the folk,
Who live on the hill.

Final test at the meet and released in the week after - if nothing major comes up!
