I've played the modern timetable on LTS so I'm looking forward to seeing a 1980s timetable on LTS, although I've got to ask but 58050 do you have any plans for more 1980s timetables?

I am still also working on the winter SR 1982/83 timetables to go with the Victoria Central one that i already out there. However these will be produced in the very well published timeframes.

No worries, it's just I find the 1980s timetables to be very much intensive compared to modern day timetables so interested to see what they were like back then.

Ajax that's all I write is BR era timetables. That said there will be only 2 or 3 written later than April 1994 when the railways were privatised & the intro duction of Railtrack. The LTS 1994 timetable being one of them. The other I'll do is Reading 1994-1995 as I have all the stuff for that one incl. Reading station working books for that era both weekdays & Saturdays so when reading ever sees the light of day then I'll start on that one. I don't have any plans at present to do an LTS 1980s era timetable. The problem is the platform allocations at Fenchurch Street. Luckily in the post 1994 LTS WTTs the platforms numbers at Fenchurch Street, Shoeburyness & intermeadiate station where trains terminate are printed in the WTT which makes it easy t not only get the platforms correct, but also make it wasy to allocate the next workings to passenger trains. Plus I have the loco diagrams for 1994for RfD, TlFSE & TlFNE & TlFW as at this time I was Duty Shift Manager at Stratford ROC for Trainload Freight South East. But be warned in this LTS 1994 timetable the passenger services between Fenchurch Street - Shoeburyness - Fenchurch Street don't all call at the same stations all the time. There are some very odd calling patterns on some services.

Two pointers:

1. What were TlFSE & TlFNE & TlFW?

2. I hope you carry on bringing these BR timetables to us

1. Those are abbreviations for Trainload Freight South East, Trainload Freight North East & Trainload Freight West which later became Mainline Freight, Loadhaul & Transrail.
2. Yes I'll keep writing BR era timetables until I either get too old to do it or I die. It keeps my mind active & also providing developers produce sims that cater for the BR era.

Many thanks to you, Vince and all the other TT writers who produce heritage TT's, they are more and more becoming the only TT's I run now. Most modern era TT's keep you busy with volume of trains but can be repetitive and have often have little variety of traffic (no slight on the efforts of the TT writers, it is just how the modern railway tends to be in many locations). Having grown up in the 70's, the heritage TT's with their sometimes lesser number of trains but often greater variety of traffic including the slower freights, loco-hauled services, trips and all the associated shunting moves hold my interest much more as it is what I can remember and very often much thought is required to keep things fluid. Please do keep up the good work.

Regards,

Phil (one happy heritage TT user)

Currently writing a timetable for West Hampstead for summer/autumn 2018. Thameslink services are 100% entered in minus the trains at normally go to the ECML, just need a few tweaks here and there. I've also organised EMT services into diagrams for 4/5/7/9/10 car runnings plus HST's, probably not 100% accurate because there's no carriage working notice available but it all tally's up and works. Hoping to start testing within the next week or so.

Here are the EMT unit diagrams from May 18 . they have platforms at Key locations if that is any help

Update from me for the year:

Existing CSCOT / Cowlairs timetables for 1993 & 1984 checked and updated for sim updates and released.

Cowlairs 2016 on the go now - that is with Queen St shut.
Not sure if it will be fun, stressful or boring yet. Hopefully a month or two for that.

Then I expect to go on to Motherwell (the existing 1984 needs a check over and 1993 needs finishing).

Bill
Not quite to plan......
Motherwell 1984 updated for sim 4.3 OK

Update of Cowlairs / CSCOT 1984 for data 4.3 is stuck with a sim bug, so not released
The available version is only OK with the older sim (4.0 - 11) as stated.

Cowlairs / CSCOT 1993 done OK

Cowlairs 2016 now done OK

Pick up Motherwell 1993 once there's less gardening to do.
Adding freight to Kings Cross 1964 is also likely sometime.

Bill

London Bridge 2012 update

Progressing steadily with about 2200 trains entered so far. All Southern, Thameslink and LO services entered (thanks to Geoff for the sim update to enable some locations) and Southeastern up to 2Sxx. Need the remainder of the SE's, then RHTT and freight and then to add some lovely rules etc.

Exeter (South West Uopgrade) update.
All trains now entered: I found a few missing ones and added those as well giving a total of 448 trains (all ECS or Passenger workings, no freight). Traction settings are also all done, partly with the aid of some guidance in the form of notes taken by a rail enthusiast friend during the engineering blockade which the TT is based around, and partly image searches / guesswork. Ran a small test on Saturday evening which went well. Will run a public test in the near future.

Update to my London Bridge Sunday 2012 WTT if anyone is interested in it.

The current state is still just only SE and LO services in, as you may remember I was struggling with the Southern stuff. I wasn't willing to throw this TT away so I've just about finished compiling my own platform workbook for London Bridge LL using the WTT and using 2013 SuO diagrams as a guide.

It wasn't the easiest thing to do but I've just about finished and thankfully everything ties up. It will make adding the Southern stuff into Simsig a million times easier now!

I have made my own small adjustments though. All xx:03 and xx:33 West Croydon arrivals use Platform 16, and depart at xx:21 and xx:51. These platform share with the xx:06 and xx:36 from Victoria which leaves at xx:11 and xx:41.

I've moved all the xx:03 West Croydons into Platform 15 as nothing at all in the WTT uses P15, saves stacking units in P16 every half an hour and makes use of a platform (and customers don't need to walk past a 4 car 455 to reach their 456 to Victoria!)
Platform 12 see's no use either so I've left it with nothing using it, so there is a spare platform to use should something go wrong.

Making a few timetables for the Liverpool Street Station simulation.

I'm planning it to be a 10-part series.

So, the first one will be for 04 December 2018. Scheduled for release in about 1 month, just started, after completion it will be tested thoroughly before I post the file somewhere.

EDIT: Looking for beta testers. If you'd like to help me test out this timetable, do send me a private message.

I love trains !!!! <3

I feel it is time for me to issue an apology, I did say a while back I was working on a few timetables but unfortunately I've had to postpone/call off them until further notice. I'm now at uni meaning my spare time is rarely to be seen.

Apologies to all.
