Ground Frames

On this simulation there are several Ground Frames controlling access from and to sidings. See here for details of Ground frames.

Generally there are no calls from entering trains as there is no associated signal (in SimSig).

List of Ground Frames

Barnetby Up Sidings

When the train is in the correct position, release the GF and move all 3 levers to reverse. The train will then move into/out of the sidings (there are no GF signals). Once the movement is complete, normalise the GF levers and lock the GF release.

On entry, details appear in message window, but no phone calls as no available signal. Train will report out of valid track until GF is released and set, train will then proceed without further action.

Barnetby Down Sidings

Not implemented

W Burton PS GF82 & GF83

When the train is in the correct position, release the GF and move both levers to reverse. The train will then move into/out of the sidings (there are no GF signals). Once the movement is complete, normalise the GF levers and lock the GF release.

Kirton Lime Sidings

When the train is in the correct position, release the GF and move all 3 levers to reverse. The train will then move into/out of the sidings (there are no GF signals). Once the movement is complete, normalise the GF levers and lock the GF release.

TI Oxide & Christopher Smaller

Trains will call up once they are in position to access either Christopher Smaller or TI Oxide.

NOTE: Trains for TI Oxide and Christopher Smaller have to be routed via Immingham East and reverse. Trains cannot enter from the Pyewipe Road direction.

When the train is in the correct position, release the GF and move all 3 levers to reverse. The train will then move into/out of the sidings (there are no GF signals). Once the movement is complete, normalise the GF levers and lock the GF release.
