I still don't yet know if I'm even available on this day for the meet, but will hopefully be finding out/getting confirmation soon. Assuming I am available and am coming to this meet then I'm willing to consider being a 'Meeter and Greeter' and/or 'Tour guide' if needed, but the latter of-course depends on the simulations planned for the meet.

Geoff, although it will be my first meet, i don't minds doing the roster clerk and will also be able to give some technical advice if needed. Won't mind being a tour guide eiher as long as i can have a run on a panel

Thanks for the offers that have come by email, PM, and postings. I'll announce a list nearer the time with more detailed duties. None will be onerous and you'll have plenty of time to enjoy yourselves. It just saves me running around like a headless chicken if I know that people are helping out. With regards to signing up on the events page and paying in advance, only about half have actually paid so far. Please remember to pay soon in order to get the discount. My train tickets for the meet are now booked. See you all there. I'll be in London around 09:30 with the intention of doing some mileage accumulation of the LUL if anyone wants to join me. I will definitely try to be there. This would be my first meet too and it would be nice to put some faces to the many names. No need to book tickets for this one though as I live in London. (Oooh lucky me, not)

I, as of today, have a chance to be able to join you all. Chris (Lord) asked me about it weeks ago, and at the time, I was not available. Given I have various travel plans to make to/from Lincoln, is there anything going on after 6pm (talk of something on here, but nothing confirmed?). (I can be as late as 2200 from KX, but have the option of 1928 from Liverpool Street via Cambridge, Hitchin & Peterborough for the same price at the moment)!!! I am available (if wanted) in the morning, or I can just turn up with everyone else at lunchtime - not sure if I was being lined up for a role of some kind (happy to help if wanted, or just be a part of the event if not needed)?
