Panel 7

Littlehaven

Littlehaven crossing consists of wooden gates, controlled locally by the Crossing Keeper . It does not require any intervention by the signaller- the crossing keeper is informed of approaching trains and will close the crossing in plenty of time. The signals on either side of the crossing (891 and 894) are slotted by the crossing keeper, as indicated by the 'Slot off' light. When the crossing is closed and it is safe for a train to pass, the slot will be granted and the appropriate signal will clear.

Parsonage Road

Parsonage Road AHB is fitted with non-stop controls. See the Level Crossings section for details.

Horsham

TRTS is provided on all platforms.

All platforms at Horsham are permissive . In order to set a route for a train to enter an already-occupied platform, the appropriate white exit arrow must be selected instead of the signal at the end of the platform. This acts as an 'Are you sure?' for the signaller. This does not apply to routes set from shunt signals, which should always be to the main signal.

Warner routes are provided to allow trains to enter one half of platform 4 while the other half is occupied. Note that if the track circuit between signals 843 and 846 is occupied, the white exit arrow must be used instead, as it is undesirable for the driver to be given a yellow aspect with no overlap at all beyond 843 and 846.

Trains from Dorking can access all platforms at Horsham, provided they are routed towards signal 841 on the Up Main from Signal 837.

All sidings at Horsham, with the exception of Down Sidings North, Malt Siding and Carriage Siding 1 require a Slot to be granted by the siding supervisor. To request, simply click the green button, which will turn solid white when the slot has been granted.

Two Signal Group Replacement Controls are provided, one for each end of Horsham station.

Christ's Hospital

Signal 857 on the Down Main may be replaced by Billingshurst, either in an emergency or to protect a crossing user at one of the crossings between Christ's Hospital and Billingshurst. If Billingshurst has replaced the signal, the '857 replaced by Billingshurst' lamp will light. For the same reasons, you may replace BT11 to danger using the replacement control adjacent to it.

Warnham

Warnham MSL crossing is fitted with non-stop controls. See the Level Crossings section for details.

Ockley

The crossover at Ockley is clipped and padlocked out of use, and is only used during by engineering trains during possessions. As such, you have no control over it in the simulation.
